About me

Translator specialised in accessibility

I was born in Montefrío, a small town in Granada (Spain), but my studies and work have led me to live in other countries such as England and Luxembourg, where I have improved my working languages: English and French. My early interest in languages and film led me to pursue a degree in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Malaga, followed by a Master’s degree in Audiovisual Translation and Accessibility at the University of Granada.

Currently, I have been working as a freelance translator for over a year since returning from Luxembourg, where I was part of the Subtitling and Voice-over unit at the European Parliament. Before that, I specialized in accessibility at Kaleidoscope, where my primary focus was creating audio-descriptive scripts and guided tours for museums. As an intern, I worked at Sombradoble, a small audiovisual communication company, where I translated documents and mobile applications into English.

I am a member of professional associations such as ATRAE (Asociación de Traducción de Adaptación Audiovisual de España) and DAMA (Derechos de Autor de Medios Audiovisuales).

If, after getting to know me a little, you think I can give you a hand in any project, do not hesitate to contact me.
